Kronstadt sentenced Sean David Sigler, 56, of Burbank.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9751305412MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The judge described\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0Sigler\u2019s conduct as \u201cinexcusable,\u201d and further said, \u201cRuining the lives of m<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">inors is unspeakable,\u201d according to authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9751305412MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Sigler, who pleaded guilty in September 2019 to two counts of production of child pornography, previously taught fifth-grade students at Bret Harte Elementary School in Burbank and at Gardner Street Elementary School in Hollywood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9751305412MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sigler was the victim\u2019s fifth-grade teacher and kept in contact with her after she left his classroom, using his position as a former teacher and mentor to gain the trust of the victim and her parent, officials stated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9751305412MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/man-sentenced-to-more-than-nine-years-in-prison-for-robbery-spree-of-cell-phone-stores\/lady-justice-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-42293\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-42293\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Lady-justice-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Sigler then exploited that trust to gain sexual access to the girl. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9751305412MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Over the course of 15 months, Sigler regularly transported the victim to his home, where he gave her alcoholic beverages and pills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9751305412MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Sigler began having sex with the minor victim when she was 15 years old, and he created multiple sexually explicit videos of the victim and took sexually explicit photographs of her. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9751305412MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The illicit conduct took place between September 2016 and May 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9751305412MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">He also created child pornography by modifying a pornographic image of the minor victim\u2019s body and digitally superimposing the face of a different underage former student, according to a January 2018 law enforcement search of Sigler\u2019s digital devices. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9751305412MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The devices contained numerous images and videos of his sexual acts with the victim, as well as more than 5,000 images of child pornography depicting unknown and previously identified pre-pubescent minors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9751305412MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Sigler agreed to forfeit $271,506 in cash seized by the government, which constitutes the proceeds from
