Walter sentenced Carlos Ayala Hernandez, a.k.a. \u201cJuan Juarez,\u201d 45, of Granada Hills, was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Judge Walter also sentenced Miguel Juarez Guerrero, 24, of Van Nuys, to 20 months in federal prison.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Hernandez pleaded guilty on April 27 to one count of conspiracy to produce, transfer and possess false identification documents, and one count of being an illegal alien in possession of firearms. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/woman-convicted-of-making-video-depicting-the-killing-of-puppies-chickens-and-kittens\/courtroom-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-15368\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-15368 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Courtroom.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"267\" height=\"242\" \/><\/a>Guerrero pleaded guilty on May 3 to one count of conspiracy to produce, transfer and possess false identification documents, and one count of producing false identification documents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 From January 2016 to January 2021, Hernandez, Guerrero and Nestor Perez, a.k.a. \u201cDaniel Perez,\u201d 32, of Van Nuys, operated an illegal business in which they manufactured and sold false identification documents. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">These counterfeit documents included U.S. passport cards, lawful permanent resident cards (more commonly known as \u201cGreen Cards\u201d), employment authorization document cards, Social Security cards, and driver\u2019s licenses purporting to be from multiple states.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At the direction of \u2013 and in exchange for payment from \u2013 Hernandez and Guerrero, Perez made the counterfeit identification documents at a Van Nuys apartment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Perez made the bogus documents using personal identifying information \u2013 including names, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers \u2013 of real persons. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">After manufacturing the phony documents, Perez provided them to Hernandez and Guerrero, who then sold the documents to others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In January 2021, law enforcement executed search warrants on Hernandez\u2019s residence and the Van Nuys apartment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">In Hernandez\u2019s residence \u2013 where Guerrero also lived \u2013 law enforcement found firearms, assorted ammunition and $40,483 generated from the false identification document scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At the Van Nuys apartment, officers also found a robust counterfeit document lab, including approximately 243 completed false identification documents, about 1,000 fraudulent authentication seals, 14 printers, a scanner and an ultraviolet light used to test the security features on counterfeit ID documents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Hernandez, a Mexican national, admitted in his plea agreement that he knew he was an illegal alien in the United States, including during the times he possessed the firearms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Perez pleaded guilty on April 12 to one count of conspiracy to produce, transfer and possess false identification documents, and one count of producing false identification documents. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2997521635MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size:
