Nothing can mitigate the pain that they must be feeling at this hour, but I hope that they will find a moment of peace in knowing that those responsible for Ky\u2019s death will be held accountable,\u201d said District Attorney George Gasc\u00f3n. \u201cI am asking for the public\u2019s help in finding additional suspects involved in the killing as we continue our pursuit of justice on Ky\u2019s behalf.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Caldwell and Singh pleaded not guilty to the charges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">On Dec. 1, 2020, Caldwell and Singh and others confronted victim Thomas, 29, her boyfriend, her sister and her sister\u2019s boyfriend as they waited outside of the bike rental store. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">During the confrontation, Caldwell allegedly shot and killed Thomas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Anyone with information that could lead to the capture of additional suspects are encouraged to contact LAPD.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LOS ANGELES COUNTY Two men were charged with murdering Ky Thomas outside of a bike rental store in Venice.
