(Citrus County Sheriff&#8217;s Office)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The indictment unsealed Friday alleges that Roy Lashley, 55, and Robert Lashley, also shouted racial slurs during the beating. The attack occurred on Nov. 17, 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"field field--name-field-pr-body field--type-text-long field--label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field__items\">\n<div class=\"field__item even\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">If convicted, the defendants each face up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The FBI and the Citrus County Sheriff\u2019s Office investigated the matter. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">According to officials, trial Attorneys Maura White and Matthew Tannenbaum of the Justice Department\u2019s Civil Rights Division and Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert E.
