court documents as \u201cA.T.\u201d who was spending the summer in the Central Coast town of Nipomo \u2013 was rescued Monday morning from a residence in Tijuana by Mexican authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv5353433340MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 According to an affidavit in support of the criminal complaint, Navarro had an online relationship with the victim for the past year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv5353433340MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"> \u201cA review of one of Navarro\u2019s Instagram accounts, \u2018dn.2021.01,\u2019 revealed conversations between Navarro and A.T. on A.T.\u2019s Instagram account in which Navarro professed his love for A.T. and discussed having sex with A.T. in order to impregnate her,\u201d according to the affidavit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On July 1, Navarro and Le entered Mexico with A.T. hidden in the backseat, according to the affidavit<\/span><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv5353433340MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The charge of transportation with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity with a minor carries a statutory maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison.<\/span><\/p>\n<p
