They represented that the victims whose PII was unlawfully used received mail at Anaheim address that Pham controlled.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9783623283MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-51223 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/3665164-300x160.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"160\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/3665164-300x160.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/3665164-1024x547.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/3665164-768x410.jpg 768w, https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/3665164.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Upon receipt of the applications, EDD transmitted the claimant information to Bank of America, which caused the issuance and mailing of debit cards to Anaheim addresses that Pham controlled.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9783623283MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pham then took the fraudulently obtained debit cards and used them to withdraw money at ATMs throughout Orange County.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9783623283MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-51090 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/wyxqqpyfnk8-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"white and black printer paper\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/wyxqqpyfnk8-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/wyxqqpyfnk8-683x1024.jpg 683w, https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/wyxqqpyfnk8-768x1152.jpg 768w, https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/wyxqqpyfnk8.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/>\u00a0 While Pham tried to obtain approximately $1,255,350 through fraudulent applications containing the PII of 24 identity theft victims, he received approximately $408,496, according to authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9783623283MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 U.S. District Judge James V. Selna scheduled a May 22 sentencing hearing.\u00a0 Pham faces up to 30 years in federal prison.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9783623283MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel S.
