Wright II sentenced Robert Sloan Mateer, 32, of Pasadena. He also ordered Mateer to pay $937,173 in restitution, officials stated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv6478784436MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mateer pleaded guilty in November 2022 to one count of use of unauthorized access devices, one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and one count of being a felon in possession of ammunition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv6478784436MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On October 1, 2020, Mateer \u2013 whose criminal history includes a felony conviction in Los Angeles Superior Court in March 2020 for driving or taking a vehicle without consent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv6478784436MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 20px;\">Mateer and co-defendant Sarah Taylor Brown, 36, of Los Angeles, were stopped in Pasadena for a traffic violation and his vehicle was searched.
