{"id":53083,"date":"2023-05-05T16:28:45","date_gmt":"2023-05-05T23:28:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/?p=53083"},"modified":"2023-05-05T16:28:45","modified_gmt":"2023-05-05T23:28:45","slug":"federal-grand-jury-indicts-minnesota-man-for-an-alleged-mosque-arson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/?p=53083","title":{"rendered":"Federal Grand Jury Indicts Minnesota Man for an Alleged Mosque Arson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"node-title\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">According to federal authorities, a Minnesota man was indicted on one count of arson and one count of damage to religious property for setting fire to a mosque.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"field field--name-field-pr-body field--type-text-long field--label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field__items\">\n<div class=\"field__item even\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Court documents indicate that on April 23, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Jackie Rahm Little, 36, started a fire in the bathroom of the Masjid Omar Islamic Center. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">On April 24, just before 7:00 p.m., Little was captured on surveillance video entering the Masjid Al-Rahma. Shortly thereafter, a fire broke out on the third floor of the mosque, and the building was evacuated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Little, arrested in Mankato on April 29, was arraigned Thursday in U.S. District Court.\u00a0 Little is in custody pending a bond hearing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_WNFvzuloVg\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Little is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The FBI, the ATF, the Minneapolis Police Department and the Hennepin County Sheriff\u2019s Office investigated the case.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Assistant U.S. Attorney Manda M.
