\"\"DeSantis is the new and improved version of Trump \u2014 neatly packaged cruelty that wraps itself around victimhood, finding and blaming scapegoats for America’s woes, and labeling those criticizing him with his Southern Fried “Woke” bigotry.<\/span>
\nRon, you are also nasty, crude, and disgusting, no matter how hard Fox tries to clean you up after dumping their champion Trump. <\/span><\/p>\n

There is so much lying that Fox’s right-wing salvage yard can do to fix you.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, most media love the DeSantis political soap opera because it’s good for profits and ratings and usually comes with priceless images of poor and desperate people entering the Southern Border.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, sprinkle the bite-size quotes on tales from the border to make them Taco Bell savory, and let’s not forget to include them on journalism resumes. Political candidates love to cut and paste these images on political ads also, especially the Republican White Nationalist Party.<\/span><\/p>\n

Undoubtedly, the U.S. must have strong and secure borders like other nations to keep out criminals and terrorists. But also have an immigration policy that is fair, compassionate, just, and orderly \u2014 not the seasonal Third World bum rush followed by the camping out on the edges of this nation’s border.<\/span>
\nHell, no. <\/span>
\nHowever, when reporting about the Mexican bogyman with its cartels and human and drug smuggling, once in a while, sometimes include these economic facts: <\/span><\/p>\n

If U.S. demand for fentanyl or other drugs by Tide-pod mindset or the social, recreational, and homeless junkies decreases, the supply will also decrease. <\/span><\/p>\n

The U.S. needs Mexico as a consumer\/trade and vice-versa.<\/span><\/p>\n

I<\/span>n 2021, Mexico was the No. 1 trading partner to the U.S. followed by Canada and China. Also, in 2021, 15.8% of total U.S. exports to the World were exported to Mexico, and 13.6% of the total U.S. Imports were from Mexico, according to the U.S. Commerce Department.<\/span>
\nIn 2021, U.S. exports to Mexico were $276.5 billion, a 30.7% ($65.0 billion) increase from 2020.<\/span>
\nIn addition, The U.S. State Department officially estimates that 1.6 million U.S. citizens live in Mexico.<\/span>
