We will continue to investigate this matter to ensure that this defendant is held accountable for his crimes and to keep our community safe from acts of violence motivated by racist and hateful minorities,\u201d said Donald Alway, the Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI\u2019s Los Angeles Field Office. \u201cHateful rhetoric that crosses the line into violence will get the attention of law enforcement, and those who engage in such extremism will be held accountable should they act upon their violent rhetoric.\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 the complaint, Bradford used an Amazon account with the username \u201cPeck Erwood\u201d with a woodpecker avatar. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0610485898MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-15321 alignright\" 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The woodpecker logo is used by the San Fernando Valley Peckerwoods, a racially motivated violent extremist group based in Los Angeles County. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0610485898MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The Peckerwoods originated in the California state prison system and its members have engaged in racially motivated violence, drug and illegal firearms trafficking, and fraud, according to the affidavit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0610485898MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-29089 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/Los-Angeles-Police-Department-209x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"209\" height=\"300\" \/>As alleged in the complaint, Bradford \u2013 using online usernames referencing the Peckerwoods \u2013 used messaging applications such as Telegram to post racist remarks against Jewish people, including calling for mass murder and genocide of Jews.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0610485898MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">This week, law enforcement recovered from Bradford\u2019s residence a calendar with a handwritten note stating: \u201cNew Year\u2019s Resolution: Take over the world \u2013 save Aryan race *Bake every single Jew.*\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_53702\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-53702\" style=\"width: 240px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-53702 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/th-20.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"180\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-53702\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Peckerwood Telegram concerning hand grenades, biological warfare, and the \u201cAryan Revolution.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0610485898MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">According to the complaint, he also offered to make firearms and firearm parts for others using 3-D printers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0610485898MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The affidavit further alleges that Bradford sent text messages in November 2022 to coordinate the distribution of methamphetamine and sent two photographs of methamphetamine to a buyer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0610485898MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-24037 alignleft\" Drakakis, 42, another member of the Peckerwoods, who was indicted on June 30 on charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl; possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking crimes; and being a felon in possession of ammunition. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0610485898MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Drakakis plead not guilty to the charges and has a scheduled August 22 trial date. He is in federal custody.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0610485898MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0 If convicted of the charges in the complaint, Bradford faces up to 20 years in federal prison for the drug conspiracy charge and up to 15 years for the ammunition possession charge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0610485898MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The FBI\u2019s Joint Terrorism Task Force, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Los Angeles Police Department are investigating this
