{"id":54539,"date":"2023-10-27T15:26:08","date_gmt":"2023-10-27T22:26:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/?p=54539"},"modified":"2023-10-27T15:31:52","modified_gmt":"2023-10-27T22:31:52","slug":"man-charged-with-threatening-to-kill-jewish-family-in-racially-motivated-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/?p=54539","title":{"rendered":"Man Charged With Threatening to Kill Jewish Family in Racially Motivated Attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6360 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/District-Attorney-Los-Angeles.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"282\" height=\"261\" \/>Daniel Garcia is charged with threatening to kill a Jewish family in their home in Los Angeles during an antisemitic attack, according to state prosecutors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\">\u201cWe unequivocally denounce the violent act committed against an innocent family in our community.\u201d District Attorney George Gasc\u00f3n said. \u201cThis act, fueled by hate and antisemitism, has no place in our society, and we condemn it in the strongest terms possible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\">Daniel Garcia, 44, is charged with three felony counts, including one count of criminal threats, one count of attempted first-degree residential burglary, and one count of vandalism, with $400 or more in damage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\">It is further alleged that Garcia committed hate crimes.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Intruder terrorizes Jewish Family in Studio City\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/U8u_j0CALds?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\">On Oct. 25, at about 5:20 in the morning, Garcia attempted to enter the victim\u2019s home by kicking in the door while shouting antisemitic slurs and threatening to, \u201ckill Jews!\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\">Garcia is currently held on $125,000 bail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\">If convicted as charged, Garcia will face a maximum sentence of seven years and four months in state prison. He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\">The Los Angeles Police Department investigated the
