They imposed daily monetary quotas that the victims had to meet through commercial sex and limited their access to food. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Additionally, Massey monitored the victims&#8217; locations through their phone&#8217;s geolocation data to prevent them from leaving and resorted to violence to enforce this operation.<button class=\"flex items-center gap-1.5 rounded-md p-1 text-xs text-token-text-tertiary hover:text-token-text-primary md:invisible md:group-hover:visible md:group-[.final-completion]:visible\"><\/button> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Massey is scheduled to be sentenced on May 21. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">If the court accepts the plea, Massey will agree to a sentence of 22 years and six months in prison.\u00a0 He will also agree to pay $128,800 in restitution to the victims. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-55411 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/OIP-11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"278\" height=\"216\" \/>As a result of his plea, Massey must also participate in the sex offender registration and notification program.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Hart also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/woman-pleads-guilty-sex-trafficking-conspiracy\">pleaded guilty<\/a>\u00a0in November 2023 to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking. She is scheduled to be sentenced on March 26.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Acting Assistant Attorney General Nicole M. Argentieri of the Justice Department\u2019s Criminal Division and U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans for the Eastern District of Louisiana made the announcement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Homeland Security Investigations, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and the Louisiana State Police investigated the case.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Trial Attorney Melissa E. B\u00fccher of the Criminal Division\u2019s Money Laundering and Asset Recovery Section and Assistant U.S. Attorney Maria M.
