He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7895897926MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Davis has been in federal custody since March 2023.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7895897926MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u201cImagine the terror of being pulled to the ground with a gun pointed at your head. During the robbery, Davis\u2019 co-conspirator discharged one of the handguns he was carrying.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7895897926MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Davis\u2019 co-conspirators stole bags filled with a total of about $166,640 in cash belonging to the armored car company.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7895897926MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Deneyvous Jayan Hobson, 38, also of the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles, this case\u2019s lead defendant, has pleaded not guilty to charges in this case.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7895897926MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"> His trial is scheduled for September 3. Hobson is charged with one count of Hobbs Act conspiracy, one count of Hobbs Act robbery, one count of using a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7895897926MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The FBI, the Los Angeles Police Department, the Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s Department, and the Hawthorne Police Department investigated this matter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7895897926MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Assistant U.S. Attorneys Kevin J.
