MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0Michael Wayne Green, age 64, of Irving, Texas, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for one count of travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct and 30 years for one count of sexual exploitation of a child, officials announced this week.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The terms of imprisonment are to be served concurrently.<\/span><\/p>\n

On January 2, 2024, Green pleaded guilty to the charges. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to investigators, in July 2022, Green traveled from his home in Texas to Oklahoma to engage in sexual acts with a child under the age of twelve, causing the child to engage in sexual conduct.<\/span><\/p>\n

He used his cell phone to create photos and videos of the child engaged in sexually explicit conduct.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThis defendant made the depraved decision to sexually exploit a child, not only failing to meet any standard of human decency but choosing instead to inflict pain and suffering on an innocent victim,\u201d said Acting Special Agent in Charge Joseph Skarda of the FBI Oklahoma City Field Office. \u00a0\u201cI\u2019m grateful for the collaborative effort between the FBI and our law enforcement partners to ensure Mr. Green will spend the next 30 years behind prison walls, where he undoubtedly belongs.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
