He pleaded not guilty to three counts of making threats against a President-elect. A trial date was set for July 28, and a magistrate judge ordered his release on a $10,000 bond.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"California Man Thomas Streavel Charged with Threatening Trump on Facebook #crime #law #crisis\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pQWGELSjdpM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"707\" data-end=\"1007\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u201cThis defendant is charged with threatening the life of our President \u2013 a man who has already survived two deranged attempts on his life,\u201d said Attorney General Pamela Bondi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1227\" data-end=\"1404\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-13120 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/U.S.-Secret-Service.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/U.S.-Secret-Service.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/U.S.-Secret-Service-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>According to a federal grand jury indictment unsealed Tuesday, Streavel used his Facebook account to post repeated threats against Trump both before and after the 2024 election.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1406\" data-end=\"1614\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">On November 6, 2024\u2014the day after the election\u2014Streavel allegedly posted: \u201cTrump is a dead man walking for the time being until a patriot like myself blows his [expletive] brains out in the very near future.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1616\" data-end=\"1777\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The indictment cites multiple posts made throughout November in which Streavel threatened to kill or harm Trump, who was then the President-elect. These include, according to authorities, the following threats:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1779\" data-end=\"2264\">\n<li data-start=\"1779\" data-end=\"1874\">\n<p data-start=\"1781\" data-end=\"1874\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong data-start=\"1781\" data-end=\"1796\">November 12<\/strong>: \u201cWilling to make America great again and blow his [expletive] brains out.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1875\" data-end=\"1995\">\n<p data-start=\"1877\" data-end=\"1995\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong data-start=\"1877\" data-end=\"1892\">November 19<\/strong>: \u201cLet me put a bullet right between the ears of your president-elect\u2026 That\u2019s my purpose for living.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1996\" data-end=\"2264\">\n<p data-start=\"1998\" data-end=\"2264\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong data-start=\"1998\" data-end=\"2013\">November 28<\/strong>: \u201cI\u2019m praying for a successful assassination of your president-elect,\u201d and, \u201cMy life\u2019s mission is killing the worthless LOSER [expletive] and my mission starts tonight so watch yourself trump [sic], you are a dead [expletive] and I am your assassin.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"2266\" data-end=\"2384\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"2386\" data-end=\"2465\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">If convicted, Streavel faces up to five years in federal prison for each count.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"2467\" data-end=\"2649\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The U.S. Secret Service is leading the investigation.
