The victim said she had been on a \u201crunning away streak\u201d recently and that Asomuyide was the officer who kept showing up for her, <strong>according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/cbs4indy.com\/news\/indycrime\/docs-ex-kokomo-police-officer-sexually-assaulted-14-year-old-runaway-in-abandoned-parking-lot\/amp\/\">WTTV-CBS4Indy<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The victim said that, after one instance of running away, Asomuyide picked her up and took her to a local youth center, but stopped once they got into the parking lot. She said the officer began asking her questions about her sex life, and eventually the two exchanged numbers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">After being returned to a family friend\u2019s house, the 14-year-old said that Asomuyide somehow tracked her phone and showed up at the front door, demanding she come with him. She said the officer then handcuffed her and put her into his squad car.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The victim described being driven to an \u201cabandoned lot\u201d before Asomuyide uncuffed her and had her sit in the front seat. She said he began to assault her sexually.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u201cI kept asking him to stop, and he wouldn\u2019t,\u201d the victim said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The officer then reportedly handcuffed her again and drove her back to the family friend\u2019s house.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">If convicted, Asomuyide faces a maximum sentence of life in
