data-end=\"581\">Dana Peach, 60<\/strong> \u2013 four years in prison, one year supervised release<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"873\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-41105 alignright\" data-end=\"679\">26-day trial in September 2024<\/strong>, a jury convicted all six of conspiracy, and Majeed on five additional forced labor counts. <strong data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"793\">Etenia Kinard, 49<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"824\">Jacelyn Greenwell, 46<\/strong>, who pleaded guilty, will be sentenced Sept. 22.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"873\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">At trial, prosecutors proved all six defendants were former high-ranking members of the <strong data-start=\"88\" data-end=\"121\">United Nation of Islam (UNOI)<\/strong> who helped founder <strong data-start=\"141\" data-end=\"159\">Royall Jenkins<\/strong>\u2014who falsely claimed to be Allah\u2014run the organization\u2019s businesses, including restaurants, bakeries, gas stations, a lab, and a clothing factory. <strong data-start=\"305\" data-end=\"329\">Defendant Dana Peach<\/strong> was also one of Jenkins\u2019s wives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"366\" data-end=\"818\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">From <strong data-start=\"371\" data-end=\"404\">October 2000 to November 2012<\/strong>, they conspired to force more than a dozen victims\u2014including children as young as eight\u2014to work <strong data-start=\"501\" data-end=\"532\">unpaid up to 16 hours a day<\/strong> in UNOI businesses across multiple states and as domestic servants in defendants\u2019 homes. Control was maintained through <strong data-start=\"653\" data-end=\"720\">beatings, threats, isolation, and deprivation of food and water<\/strong>, while defendants lived comfortably and victims endured <strong data-start=\"777\" data-end=\"815\">overcrowded, unsanitary conditions<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"1114\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The scheme lured parents with <strong data-start=\"850\" data-end=\"868\">false promises<\/strong> of education and job training, then isolated victims from their families, forcing them into an <strong data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"999\">unlicensed, unaccredited school<\/strong> and subjecting them to <strong data-start=\"1023\" data-end=\"1095\">strict rules, monitored communications, punishments, and humiliation<\/strong> to compel labor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1116\" data-end=\"1175\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The <strong
