\"\"\"LaJonathan Gonzalez-Reyes, 39, of Anaheim, was sentenced to 23 years in federal prison for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, photographing and filming the attack, and distributing the child sexual abuse material. <\/span><\/p>\n

U.S. District Judge David O. Carter also ordered him to pay $3,000 in restitution.<\/span><\/p>\n

A jury convicted Gonzalez-Reyes in April of producing, distributing, and possessing child pornography. He has been in custody since June 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

In February 2021, Gonzalez-Reyes and co-defendant Nanci Jasmin Castillo, 32, befriended the victim, gave her alcohol after she had taken Xanax, and sexually assaulted her at Castillo\u2019s home while she drifted in and out of consciousness. They recorded the abuse and shared the material, officials stated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Investigators later found the images on Gonzalez-Reyes\u2019 phone and Castillo\u2019s iCloud account. In September 2021, Gonzalez-Reyes knowingly distributed additional images of the same victim.<\/span><\/p>\n

Castillo pleaded guilty to production of child pornography and, in July, was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison with $3,000 restitution.<\/span><\/p>\n

The FBI led the investigation with assistance from Anaheim Police, the Los Angeles Regional Human Trafficking Task Force, L.A. County DCFS, and ZOE International. <\/span><\/p>\n

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Chelsea Norell and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Blake Hannah.<\/span><\/p>\n
