He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"667\" data-end=\"1132\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11461 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Ponzi-Scheme-Image-Courtesy-FBI.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"180\" \/>Between 2021 and 2025, prosecutors allege that Brown misappropriated film production funds by billing projects for bogus testing through his company, Hollywood Covid Testing LLC. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"667\" data-end=\"1132\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">He also lured investors with false promises: one (\u201cVictim 1\u201d) into a sham real estate venture, and another (\u201cVictim 2\u201d) into Film Holdings Capital, which he ran like a Ponzi scheme. Brown allegedly bolstered his credibility with a stolen IMDb profile and concealed lawsuits and accusations of fraud.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1134\" data-end=\"1408\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Instead of funding productions, he allegedly spent millions on luxury cars, a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, Teslas, a $99,000 pool, mortgage payments, a home for his mother, private school tuition, surrogacy services, and nearly $1 million tied to a Patricia Hearst film project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1642\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">If convicted, Brown faces up to 20 years in prison for each wire fraud count, 10 years for each money laundering count, and mandatory two-year terms for identity theft. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1642\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The FBI and IRS Criminal Investigation are leading the
