King\u2019s remains were later found in the Angeles National Forest. In <strong data-start=\"866\" data-end=\"904\">August 2023, Robert Gutierrez, 53,<\/strong> disappeared after meeting Prowell; Gutierrez\u2019s car was recovered in Prowell\u2019s garage, though his body has not been found.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1030\" data-end=\"1213\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Most recently, in <strong data-start=\"1048\" data-end=\"1066\">February 2025,<\/strong> Prowell allegedly bound a 40-year-old man, beat him with a baseball bat, and ran him over with a vehicle, breaking his leg. The victim survived.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1215\" data-end=\"1376\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Prowell was already on probation for prior Beverly Hills and Los Angeles burglaries. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1215\" data-end=\"1376\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">If convicted, he faces life in prison without parole or the death penalty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1378\" data-end=\"1579\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney John Lewin of the Cold Case Unit and remains under investigation by LAPD\u2019s Robbery-Homicide Division and the L.A.
