\"\"Trump, in his reckless way, just handed defense lawyers a gift. By ranting on social media about prosecuting his political enemies, he opened the door for defendants to argue malicious and unlawful prosecution under color of law.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

That puts Pam Bondi in the crosshairs. Subpoenas could drag her emails, calls, and files into the open\u2014and force her to testify whether she\u2019s taking Trump\u2019s marching orders online. If so, she\u2019s not a prosecutor. She\u2019s his enforcer.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Good defense lawyers would line up recent DOJ prosecutors who abruptly resigned to testify about the marching orders given by Bondi.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Is Bondi already an accomplice in Trump’s unlawful conduct?<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The Constitution is clear: prosecutions must be impartial. The Supreme Court has stated outright that prosecutors must be disinterested (Young v. U.S. ex rel. Vuitton, 1987). If Bondi is working as Trump\u2019s political hitwoman, every case she touches collapses.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

There might be other cases she is prosecuting for Trump that need judicial scrutiny.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Also, the American Bar Association Model Rules of Professional Conduct (Rule 1.7, Rule 1.11) prohibit attorneys \u2014 including prosecutors \u2014 from malicious and unlawful prosecution. Lawyers can lose their law licenses.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
And let\u2019s not forget\u2014Bondi already faces legal trouble in Florida, as Newsweek reported in June 2025. That\u2019s the person Trump wants swinging the axe for him.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
