Here is what these people might need:<\/span><\/p>\n

They\u2019re called SLAPPs<\/strong> \u2014 Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

These are not about justice. They\u2019re about power. SLAPPs are the legal equivalent of a baseball bat to silence you for daring to post, write, or speak truth. <\/strong>They\u2019re filed to censor, intimidate, and punish critics by burying them under mountains of legal bills.<\/span><\/p>\n

The good news?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Many states have anti-SLAPP laws<\/strong> that let judges throw these bogus cases out early. In some states, the bullies who file them even end up paying your attorney\u2019s fees.<\/span><\/p>\n

As of June 2025<\/strong>, 38 states and D.C.<\/strong> have some form of anti-SLAPP protection.
