We, along with our federal partners, are committed to relentlessly pursuing, prosecuting, and punishing anyone involved in planning and executing these brazen, violent crimes. Violence against others will not be tolerated.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Simi Valley man arrested outside Justice Kavanaugh&#039;s home charged with attempted murder\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZgToPPZpRz4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>KTLA News Report Three Years Ago<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"332\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">As part of a guilty plea, Roske admitted that on June 7, 2022, he flew from Los Angeles to Dulles with a firearm and ammunition in his checked luggage, then took a taxi to Montgomery County, intending to kill a Supreme Court Justice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"334\" data-end=\"647\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">At about 1:05 a.m. on June 8, Deputy U.S. Marshals guarding the Justice\u2019s home saw Roske arrive in dark clothing with a backpack and suitcase. After noticing security, Roske circled the house, then called 911 to report homicidal and suicidal thoughts, admitting he had flown from California to kill the Justice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"975\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Montgomery County police arrested him and recovered a firearm, ammunition, tactical gear, burglary tools, and other items from his bags. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"975\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">After being Mirandized, Roske said he was motivated by the leaked draft decision on abortion and the Uvalde school shooting. He admitted he intended to \u201cbreak in [and] shoot\u201d the Justice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"1084\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The FBI,
