\"\"A West Los Angeles childcare company CEO, camp counselor, and private babysitter was indicted Tuesday on 16 federal counts alleging he used his positions of trust to sexually exploit at least six children in his care, officials stated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Miguel Adrian Gonzalez, 28, of West Los Angeles, is charged with two counts of obtaining custody of a minor with intent to produce child pornography, seven counts of producing child pornography, two counts of distributing child pornography, three counts of receiving child pornography, and two counts of possessing child pornography.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gonzalez has been in federal custody since Oct. 28.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the indictment and an earlier criminal complaint, Gonzalez \u2014 a longtime childcare provider and CEO of Let\u2019s Play LA LLC \u2014 produced sexually explicit images of children between 2021 and 2025. <\/span><\/p>\n

Prosecutors allege he touched at least one victim\u2019s genitalia and created sexual images of multiple children he babysat.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"In October 2023 and May 2024, Gonzalez allegedly texted the parents of two 6-year-old boys and offered to take custody of them through babysitting services, knowing he intended to produce sexually explicit images. <\/span><\/p>\n

Those interactions resulted in two sets of child sexual abuse material, according to the indictment.<\/span><\/p>\n

From April to August 2025, Gonzalez allegedly used Snapchat and Telegram to distribute and receive child sexual abuse material, including images of children he had supervised. <\/span><\/p>\n

In October 2025, investigators say he possessed CSAM on two Apple iPhones, including images of six known victims.<\/span><\/p>\n

An indictment is only an allegation. Gonzalez is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.<\/span><\/p>\n

If convicted, he faces up to life in prison, according to officials.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s Office has also charged Gonzalez with a felony child sexual exploitation offense in a separate but related case.<\/span><\/p>\n

Homeland Security Investigations and the Los Angeles Police Department are leading the federal investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
