\"\"Trump is too crude\u2014and frankly too unserious\u2014to change his thuggish playbook. Trump and his in-house stooges\u2014JD Vance, Pete Hegseth, Marco Rubio<\/strong>\u2014may try to corner Zelenskyy again, maybe on-camera, maybe behind closed doors, and then use the fallout as a runway to slide toward a Putin-friendly \u201cdeal.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s the con: rebrand surrender as \u201cpeace\u201d while the aggressor\u2014Trump\u2019s pal, Putin\u2014keeps the prize.<\/span><\/p>\n

And here\u2019s the fact they can\u2019t spin away unless they bury it: there\u2019s a public scoreboard<\/strong> at the United Nations.<\/span><\/p>\n

On February 24, 2025<\/strong>, the UN General Assembly backed a Ukraine\/Europe resolution by 93 in favor, 18 against, 65 abstentions<\/strong>. That 93 is real, recorded, and global\u2014countries willing to say out loud that peace doesn\u2019t mean rewarding conquest and the invading army \u2014 Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n

So expect the propaganda rinse cycle. Trump, Fox\u2014and whatever airtime launders it next\u2014will try to put lipstick on a \u201cpeace plan\u201d that amounts to this: Ukraine loses, Putin wins, and Trump declares himself a genius on television.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The political jolt is that the United States voted \u201cno,\u201d<\/strong> breaking from prior years and landing on the same side of that resolution as Russia<\/strong> and a small cluster of governments.
