He was released on bond six months later.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">In October 2021, Elberton, Ga., police investigated the disappearance of another 15-year-old girl who had been communicating with Jackson. She later told investigators that Jackson sent an Uber for her, took her to a motel, and had sex with her multiple times.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">The FBI located Jackson in June 2022 on a Greyhound bus in Big Spring, Texas. He was arrested with a gun, $3,500 in cash, and another runaway who said she met him on Instagram and that he recorded videos of their sexual encounters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">DNA evidence also tied Jackson to a 2015 rape of a 15-year-old in Atlanta, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">On Jan. 23, 2026, U.S. District Judge Thomas W. Thrash Jr. sentenced Jackson to 25 years in prison and 10 years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty in May 2025 to transporting a minor across state lines for sex and to enticing two minors for sex.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">The FBI led the investigation with help from police in DeKalb County, Baton Rouge, Big Spring, and
