Meanwhile, the Democrats, for the most part, can only point the public toward what the world has already seen on video \u2014 thanks to citizens with cameras.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">And in all the political gasbaggery and chest-thumping in front of media cameras and mics, o<strong>ne crucial fact gets ignored:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/supreme.justia.com\/cases\/federal\/us\/482\/451\/?utm_source=chatgpt.com\"><strong>The United States Supreme Court in\u00a0<em>City of Houston v. Hill<\/em>\u00a0(1987<\/strong><\/a>) made clear that police officers, as\u00a0<strong>\u201cproperly trained<\/strong>\u201d law-enforcement professionals, are expected to exercise a higher degree of restraint than\u00a0<strong>ordinary citizens<\/strong>\u00a0when dealing with speech and conduct. Keyword:\u00a0<strong>properly trained<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 and no one ever asks\u00a0<strong>Homan, \u201cDid you see the videos? Do you still argue that ICE agents are\u00a0<em>properly trained<\/em>?<\/strong>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>Why is this important?\u00a0<\/strong>Because the world needs to know that armed American police are held to a higher standard of conduct than protesters or an average citizen walking down the street \u2014\u00a0<strong>people who are being brutalized, beaten, gassed or killed by domestic terrorists in government uniforms.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div
