Superseding indictment accuses Rollin\u2019 60s Crips leader Eugene \u201cBig U\u201d Henley Jr. of soliciting the murder of a government witness, witness tampering, wire fraud, and interstate prostitution offenses ahead of his 2027 trial.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

LOS ANGELES<\/strong> \u2014 Federal prosecutors have filed seven new felony charges against alleged Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips leader Eugene “Big U” Henley Jr., accusing him of plotting to have a government witness killed while awaiting trial on a sweeping racketeering case.<\/span><\/p>\n

A superseding indictment returned Wednesday charges Henley, 59, with two counts of soliciting a violent crime, two counts of witness tampering, one count of conspiracy to transport women across state lines for prostitution, and two counts of wire fraud.<\/span><\/p>\n

Henley has remained in federal custody since March 2025. He previously was charged with racketeering conspiracy, robbery, extortion, tax evasion, wire fraud and other offenses. He and six co-defendants are scheduled for trial in February 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n
