Cooke sentenced <strong>Jacqueline Nicole Lee Warrick,<\/strong>\u00a0 26, of Miami, to 30 months in prison. Warrick is one of several defendants who have plead guilty for their roles in an ID theft ring that victimized AT&amp;T customers.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6742\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6742\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Nicole-Warrick.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6742 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Nicole-Warrick-150x150.png\" alt=\"Nicole Warrick\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6742\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jacqueline Nicole Lee Warrick<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Warrick \u00a0pled guilty to one count of using an authorized access device and one count of aggravated identity theft.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents, defendant<strong> Chouman Emily Syrilien<\/strong> was employed by <strong>Interactive Response Technologies, Inc.<\/strong>\u00a0 or IRT located in Margate.<\/p>\n<p>IRT provides staffing for call centers to handle direct sales and customer inquiries for <strong>AT&amp;T.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Syrilien unlawfully provided a co-conspirator with the personal identifying information from multiple AT&amp;T customer files.<\/p>\n<p>Defendant<strong> Arrington Basil Segu<\/strong>\u00a0also unlawfully provided personal identifying information of many people to the co-conspirator.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carlos Antonio Alexander<\/strong>, \u00a0<strong>Tracey Delva<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Shantegra La\u2019Shae Godfrey<\/strong>, <strong>Monique Smith<\/strong>, and <strong>Warrick<\/strong> were added as \u201cauthorized users\u201d on victims\u2019 credit or debit card accounts or bank accounts to access the accounts of persons whose personal identifying information had been stolen.<\/p>\n<p>Once a co-conspirator\u2019s name was added as an \u201cauthorized user,\u201d the bank or credit card company or both were directed to mail additional debit or credit cards bearing the names of these newly added \u201cauthorized users\u201d to their addresses or addresses under their control, all without the true account holder\u2019s knowledge or consent, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The defendants used these credit and debit cards to make purchases or obtain money.<\/p>\n<p>Delva and Warrick both utilized fraudulently obtained debit and credit cards that bore their names as additional \u201cauthorized users\u201d on victims\u2019 accounts to make both retail purchases as well as cash advances in excess of $28,000.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander, Smith and Godfrey made retail purchases as well as cash advances in excess of $24,000, $12,000 and $8,200, respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Angel Arcos, 23<\/strong>, \u00a0allowed his personal information to be used to open a bank account to further the fraudulent activity.<\/p>\n<p>From September 16 to 18, 2013, five withdrawals totaling $13,000 were made from the fraudulent account and deposited into <strong>Arcos\u2019<\/strong> checking account.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The following defendants have plead guilty:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On July 30, <strong>\u00a0Delva<\/strong>, 27, of Deerfield Beach, pled guilty to one count of access device fraud, and one count of aggravated identity. Sentencing for Delva is scheduled for October 29, 2014.<\/li>\n<li>On August 6,, <strong>Syrilien,<\/strong> 25, of Lauderdale Lakes, was sentenced to 34 months in prison. \u00a0Syrilien pled guilty to one count of possession of 15 or more unauthorized access devices and one count of aggravated identity theft.<\/li>\n<li>On October 1, \u00a0<strong>Alexander,<\/strong> 24, of Orlando, was sentenced to 16 months in prison. Alexander pled guilty to one count of using an authorized access device and one count of aggravated identity theft.<\/li>\n<li>On September 3, <strong>Arcos<\/strong>, 23, of Pompano Beach, was sentenced to time served. Arcos was subject to 180 days of home detention with electronic monitoring. Arcos pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud.<\/li>\n<li>On September 3, <strong>Smith<\/strong>, 31, of Pompano Beach, pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud \u00a0and one count of aggravated identity theft.<\/li>\n<li>Also on Sept. 3, \u00a0<strong>Segu<\/strong>, 28, of Miami pled guilty to one count of access device fraud and one count of aggravated identity theft. \u00a0Sentencing for Smith and Segu is scheduled for November 19.<\/li>\n<li>On September 22, 2014, <strong>Godfrey<\/strong>, 23, of Deerfield Beach, pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud. \u00a0Sentencing is scheduled for December 3.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0MIAMI &#8211; Another identity thief was sentenced to prison for stealing person account and identification information from AT&amp;T customers, officials announced last week.
