\"LADYJUSTICE\"<\/a>U.S. District Courts:<\/strong> \u00a0Bankruptcy cases filed in federal courts for the fiscal year 2014\u2014the 12-month period ending September 30, 2014\u2014totaled 963,739, down 13 percent from the 1.1 million bankruptcy filings in FY 2013, according to statistics released Tuesday by the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts.<\/p>\n

This is the lowest number of bankruptcy filings for any 12-month period since 2007.<\/p>\n
