\"courtroom_02\"<\/a>OAKLAND<\/strong> \u2013 Alan Daniel Wilson<\/strong>, also known as \u201cAl Pill,\u201d was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Court Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers\u00a0to 16 years and eight months in prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, the FBI announced.<\/p>\n

Wilson pleaded guilty on October 2, 2014, to possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute, officials said.<\/p>\n

According to the plea agreement, Wilson admitted to possessing 616.4 grams of methamphetamine for sale as well as $14,969 in drug trafficking proceeds at the time of his arrest on October 23, 2013.<\/p>\n

According to the government\u2019s sentencing memorandum, Wilson, a member of the Co Co Boys gang, was a parolee-at-large when he was arrested by the Antioch Police Department.<\/p>\n

Wilson was arrested following a high-speed chase through residential streets in Antioch.\u00a0 Wilson qualified as a \u201cCareer Offender\u201d under federal sentencing guidelines due to his multiple prior drug trafficking convictions.<\/p>\n

Wilson, 39, of Antioch, was indicted by a federal grand jury on December 19, 2013, for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

The judge ordered Wilson to forfeit the $14,969 in drug trafficking proceeds in his possession at the time of his arrest as well as his Chevrolet pick-up truck.\u00a0 Wilson has been in custody since his arrest in October 2013 and will begin serving the sentence immediately, officials said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
