A federal grand jury in Minneapolis has indicted 11 alleged members of the Lows, a violent Minneapolis street gang, on 18 counts, including RICO conspiracy involving murder, attempted murder, gun trafficking, and drug trafficking.
The indictment alleges that the 11 defendants were members of the Lows, a Minneapolis gang active since about 2004, primarily in the city’s northside.
The Lows are accused of trafficking firearms and drugs, including fentanyl, and using threats, violence, and intimidation to maintain their territory, reputation, and profits.
The defendants are charged with a pattern of racketeering, including violent acts, gun and drug trafficking, and multiple murders and attempted murders involving ten victims.
“The Lows are an exceptionally violent criminal street gang that has terrorized north Minneapolis for nearly 20 years.
