Just Saying: Urgent Care, the Rude Awakening and Sleep Apnea

In the days when I seemed to be hopelessly stuck on stupid, doctor visits were on the very bottom of my to-do list.
If something was wrong with me, I didn’t want to know.
I’ve had good health insurance plans through the places where I worked but used it when it was really, really necessary. Then, I’d go to the emergency room, which I used as my urgent care clinic before urgent care clinics started popping up around the country.

Two Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Mail from Hundreds of Mailboxes at Apartment Complex

Alleged thieves who broke into mailboxes at Corona apartment complex and stole the mail were arrested Friday and charged with federal crimes, according to officials.
The defendants used a counterfeit Postal Service key to access 300 mailboxes. One of the three defendants is currently a fugitive, officials said.

Feds: Man Who Threatened President Had Pipe Bombs in His Home

A Medford man was arrested and charged with threatening the president of the United States on Thursday night, the FBI said.

John Martin Roos, 61, was taken into custody following a search of his apartment that also turned up several pipe bombs, officials said.
Agents made a probable cause arrest of Roos, charging him with threatening the president of the United States and use of an interstate facility to transmit threats.

A video released Thursday by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office shows a woman in handcuffs getting hit repeatedly by an officer as other officers watch the violence unfold.
The Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of the 26-year-old probationary patrol officer after the incident.

Omar Cantero Martinez, 31, and Armando Sotelo, 24, both of Dodge City, Kansas were charged with federal hate crimes for attacking three Somali men, according to officials.

The indictment, which was unsealed Wednesday, charges Martinez and Sotelo with three counts of causing bodily injury to a victim because of actual and perceived race and national origin.
